A boy walking his dog near Griffith Park made a grim discovery early this morning.  The dog began digging under a bush and unearthed a skull.  After the police arrived and began digging, more skeletal remains were found buried in shallow graves.  The police cordoned off the area and warned that many more bodies were feared to be buried throughout the area.  By late today, these fears were confirmed.  In a late press conference, Ed Pistone, the Chief of Police, said, “We have what appears to be a mass grave.  All the remains, so far, appear to have been murdered.  I can’t elaborate right now.  The forensic experts believe some of the bodies are recent, while others may have been there for many years.  They all appear to be adult men and women.  From the layout of the land nearby, it is possible that several hundred bodies may be eventually unearthed.”

A large excavation has begun.  Volunteers are arriving from all over the state to help in the massive project.

The same question is on the minds of all the residents in the surrounding area;  Do they have a serial killer in their midst?  Has a madman been killing people for several years and disposing the bodies near their homes?  How could this happen for as long as it has without someone noticing?

The number of bodies recovered from the Hollywood Mass Graves has reached 763 and still counting.  The first dozen or so victims have now been identified and the police have confirmed the rumors that stated the victims had all worked at the various motion picture studios around Hollywood.  Rumors are running rampant around Hollywood that the studios are somehow involved in the deaths.

It has been revealed that the land where the bodies are being dug up is owned by Wormwood Studios.  Spokespeople for the studio have denied any knowledge of the mass graves.  When asked why this prime real estate area had never been developed, the spokespeople had no comment.

There are unconfirmed reports that many neighbors in the area of the graves have seen large trucks coming and going late at night.  Witnesses have stated the trucks have the Wormwood Studio logo on their sides.
