The Following is an excerpt from an article in the Tucson Daily Journal
From November of last year:

The Rillito River, North Of Tucson
Two
bodies were found in the Rillito River yesterday. The police spokesperson, Officer Darlene Stahle, described them as
Caucasian males both in there late ‘30’s.
The officer would not elaborate, but did say that the two men had been
murdered. Although their names have not
yet been released, pending notification of relatives, it has been revealed that
they had both just finished working on an independent film shot here in
Tucson. The director of the film
arrived at the scene of the murder around the same time as the reporters
did. He told us the two men were
worried and felt they were being followed.
The director, Larry Foster, stated that he and the crewmembers had
received several death threats over the past several weeks. He, and they, was afraid that people, either
from Hollywood, or local friends of Hollywood types, were angry at their film’s
subject matter. When asked by us for
more details about his film, Mr. Foster declined to comment further. Mr. Foster left with the police and has not
returned our calls.
We contacted several people prominent in the local film community and they all said that many persons of influence were very unhappy with Mr. Foster’s film. From what they told us, the film casts a very negative view on Hollywood. These local experts are very afraid Hollywood will not want to come to Tucson to make movies and they blame Mr. Foster and his movie. There has been a local effort to stop Mr. Foster from releasing his film. It came to no surprise to the contacts that some members of Foster’s film crew have met with a bad end. They, according to our sources, deserved what they got.
